AMANA PTAC 12,000 BTU Heat Pump Air Conditioner with Heater

The new AMANA PTAC "K" Series has been redesigned to incorporate integrated Bluetooth & RF connectivity, as well as the new AMANA brand mobile app. By eliminating the user-operated control pad, the unit now boasts a modern and streamlined appearance, making operation more efficient. However, this updated design necessitates the use of a wired or wireless wall thermostat for operation.

The Bluetooth & RF connectivity not only reduces unit setting & configuration time but also allows access to advanced unit features including troubleshooting & diagnostics through the wired/wireless thermostat or the AMANA brand mobile app.

Enhancements in design and materials have resulted in a significant reduction in operating noise transmission, as well as exterior & operating noise entering the room. This creates a more peaceful and tranquil environment for both you and your guests. With a Sound Transmission Class (STC) rating of 29, the new series is notably quieter than its predecessors. Additionally, the unit now comes in a modern Quiet White color.

Manufactured and designed in the U.S.A., the AMANA PTAC can achieve an EER value of up to 14.0, providing efficient cooling and heating for spaces up to 550 sq. ft. Please note that new installations require the purchase of a sleeve & rear grille, as these items are not included. The unit fits a standard PTAC Sleeve Size of 42'' x 16 1/16'' x 14 1/8''.

Included with your purchase is the AMANA MMW-2 Wireless Thermostat, which enables you to control your AMANA PTAC from anywhere in the room. The Wireless Thermostat includes the necessary antenna for seamless communication between the unit and the thermostat.
