AMANA PTAC 15,000 BTU Heat Pump Air Conditioner with Heater 20 Amp Plug - White

The new AMANA PTAC "K" Series has been redesigned to incorporate integrated Bluetooth & RF connectivity, as well as the new AMANA brand mobile app. This updated series eliminates the user-operated control pad in favor of a more modern and streamlined appearance and operation.

The redesigned unit requires a wired or wireless wall thermostat for operation, with the Bluetooth & RF connectivity helping to reduce unit setting and configuration time. Advanced unit troubleshooting and diagnostics can be accessed either through the thermostat or the mobile app.

The improved design and materials have been implemented to reduce operating noise and minimize the transmission of exterior and operating sounds into the room, creating a quieter and more pleasant environment for occupants. With a Sound Transmission Class (STC 29) rating, the new units are quieter than their predecessors and come in a sleek Quiet White color.

Manufactured and assembled in the U.S.A for over 45 years, the new AMANA PTAC boasts an EER value of up to 14.0, offering efficient cooling and heating for spaces up to 550 sq. ft. New installations will require a sleeve and rear grille, which are not included.

Included with the purchase is the AMANA MMW-2 Wireless Thermostat, allowing users to control their PTAC from anywhere in the room. The Wireless Thermostat comes equipped with the necessary antenna for seamless communication between the unit and the thermostat.
